Re: Super Coupe Superchargers
The Eaton M90 is what is on the T-Birds (and 3.8L Grand Prix, Regal, Impala and Monte Carlo). Magnacharger sells these as complete kits. But the supercharger that they recommend for a V-8 Chevy is the larger M112 that is used by Ford for the Mustang Cobra and F-150 Lightning.Originally posted by cruisenight
Has anyone run one, or more, of those (EATON?) superchargers from a Thunderbird Supercoupe 3.8L V6 on any other engine? Especially Small Block Chevy's? Did you use a adapter box on top of a stock manifold? How did you duct from rear of blower into manifold? HEI distributor seems to be a potential for clearance problems. What about Pulley drive, belts? did you lengthen blower drive?
Has anyone run 2 on same engine at same time (double blowers)? What about belt tensioners?
Anybody try one one a 2x4 barrel intake blowing throw rear carb opening with front opening closed and used for mount?
Magnacharger sells complete kits for around $4000 to $5000. I'm using one of these on my 6.0L Gen III. The kits will allow for forward air intake or rearward intake. These systems work best using an EFI system.---Tom

I check in everyday and some are better than others. I don't think Brent has anything to do with the forum anymore, but I'm not sure. Hopefully as time moves on the forum will get better.
Where is everybody?
