    well that ok i respectfully disagree with you i have balanced ex bbc454 502 and 565 and we used the external 454wheels . the 383/400 sbc wheels are not 454 wheels. there different part number for them from gm any one that sell the flex plate or fly wheel. there are more then one 454 wheels the mark 4 and 6 flys are not the same. as a 400 sbc if your spinning the crank and re balancing with the 400 wheel it could work other then that it is not the same as the 454 mark 4 or 6. the weight is not the same from sbc 400to 454 it will bolt up that still will not make it right
