    I once built 3 identical short blocks for me and two of my friends---the boring bar slipped on mine and I had to go bigger to save it---My 522 always outran there 496s---and I just happened to have a set of pistons when one of them hurt there their 496

    hey jerry did you do a 4.375 bore thats 511 or did you go to the old cam am bore 4.440 ? that is abit ...less you had a bowtie block
