    cam bearings

     



    wow 100.00 for cam bearings..is that american money? i really need to look at my pricing..i must be stuck in the sixties..sometimes you do have to kinnda work on em (with a broke ring my favorite) to get it right (dang dodges) but that much for a standard install..WOW
    if you cant run with the big dogs
    then stay on the porch

    I agree with Pat. When you install the cam, you have to be very careful, plenty of thick lub, and rotate the cam as you install it. That may be another reason you think they were not correct. You couldn't get past a point, because you didn't gently rotate the cam, and the cam may not pass past the third bearing unless you do.

    You can scratch those bearings with your fingernail. That's how carefull you must be.

    you think is but how would you know? this may sound like a smart A$$ qoute but how do you know ? the bore if small will make the bearing small so is it the bearing or the housing bore of the block. it will need to be check . if a hi spot there is away to fix that .you have dents in the cam bearing where the cam lobes hit them this will stop the cam moving back to the next cam bearing and if you pull up or down hard on the cam trying to get it out you will put hi spots on the cam bearings that is what i seen in the photos
