Actually these heads are ok, I have them on my 71 Nova with a 468 big block. I am looking for something that will breathe a little beter.
The motor runs good, but is basically out of air arouind 4500 rpm's

The motor has a stock 4 bolt block with stock rods etc..
A very mild cam was added with a aluminum duel plane intake and holley carb. I plan on going to a slightly more agressive prifile on the cam, 2" hooker comp headers and of course the better oval port heads. I want to be able to drive this around on pump gas like a daily driver, but of course it will not be driven daily.
I don't think 500 horse power would be too hard to get out of a 468 even with some very mild mods....
