I would try to go with the 3M double sided tape if you can.
I like chrome grills and bumpers but I hate chrome molding because it likes to catch dirt and road grime, that in turn causes rust to start. So I have been looking at have the chrome molding air brushed on the sides. It just looks that good here is a example on the site below. Kurt
