I was wondering if the clutch fork on a m21 muncie 4 speed can be taken out and installed without removing the tranny and still ensure its positioned right on the throwout? I have adjusted my clutch and it hold pedal for a few pumps then it has nothing I believe the cluthc fork isnt holding or is bent ..Ive got a new adjustment rod (heavy duty) and it seemed to be fine until recently. I had auto headers on a 4 speed initially ..came on the car and I didnt reaklize it. So i removed the headers went to exhaust manifolds and got the correct legnth rod once again seemed fine until recentlt but now it wont hold the adjustment adn I can move the fork alot ....any input if anyone thinks its a bent or worn out clutch fork and about replacing it w/ or w/o pulling the tranny
