The tranny and bellhousing will have to come off to change the clutch fork.

I had the same problem several years ago. After I got everything apart I found out the clutch fork wasn't the problem. Seems the cross shaft had split (on the bottom where you couldn't see it too well until it was off). Might be something you want to check before you pull the tranny out. The easy way is to have someone depress the clutch while you watch the linkage and make sure everything is working properly.
