    Which Trans And Coverter

     



    I JUST BLEW THE TRANS IN MY 23 T AND WAS THINKING ABOUT REPLACING IT WITH A STREET AND STRIP TRANS FROM SUMMIT. I NEED SOME FEEDBACK ON WICH IS THE BETTER ONE ? T C I OR B AND M ALSO WICH CONVERTER WOULD YOU GUYS RECOMEND ? I HAVE A MILDLY CAMMED 396 WITH A TUNNEL RAM HEADERS AND TWO 500 EDELBROCKS. I HAVE 308 GEARS AND A BLON UP 350 TURBO HYDROMATIC I DONT RUN IT HARD JUST CRUISE AND STOMP IT NOW AND THEN ANY INFO MUCH APPRECIATE.

    I would lean toward TCI. How tall are the rear tires? If yer' just cruisin' I would go withmaybe a 2,000 RPM stall. It pains me to say that cuz' .... me personally.... I would go 3,500 RPM stall. But you gotta know I get a little carried away sometimes. He HE

    I like/use B&M but hey thats a chevy/ford debate, oh wait, you have a chevy in your ford so do I, anyway with the T being light and the tunnelram giving up some low rpm torque, along with those high gears I would (and do ) use a 2800 depending on your tire height mabey even 3200.
