Ok, I'm NOT an automatic transmission guy.... But I did end up with an automatic overdrive to put behind my 351W in the pickup---just not having any luck finding a site to decode the tag and see what I have for sure....

The pan has "metric" stamped into it, if that means anything.

I got the tag off of it;

Top line: PKA EA
2nd line:043088---I assume this is the date of mfg, April 30, 1988
3rd line: E9AP EB

Could someone direct me to a site that has the information on what the trans is (I think it's an AOD)

Also, while it's out of the car I'd like to do some service on it. I know to replace the front and rear seal and the filter and fluid... Any suggestions on what else I should check out??
