    TH350 yoke

I'm working on a chassis built in the sixties. It had a SBC with 4 speed coupled to a GM rear end. I bought it without engine and transmission. It had a drive shaft and I got Ujoints for a '60 Chevy which fit the rear end and driveshaft yokes. I have a TH350 and the tranny yoke is wider spaced so the U joint doesn't fit. Is there a different yoke available or do I have to have the drive shaft redone? I know someone has "been there, done that" so please help. This project was started years ago and I finally get moving on it and plan to fire it up, fill the transmission fluid, get it on a trailer and take it to the exhaust man the by first of the week. Please help while I'm getting to work on it!

so you need what we call a inside to side clip u joint the u joint clip on the outside over all is shorter and the inside clip is longer . this type of joint is not hard to find it.s more or less a joint to use for matting old 60s to newer 75 newer parts same joint used from chevy to small yoke ford rear end

There are 2 different sizes for most U-joint applications. One is the standard 1310 series which is the smaller bearing and the 1350 ,which is bigger and used in most hi-po applications. They are also journals that have 1310 on one side and 1350 on the other depending on the end yoke on the rear and the yoke which is on the end of the driveshaft. Check out Dana/Spicer

I think this Neapco 2-1153 Conversion U-Joint 3R to 1350 may be what you need? You might check with Inland Truck Parts if you have one near by - they generally stock most every u-joint combo made.

Just installed a Spicer 5-134X U-joint. The 1310 and 1350 were both discussed at the parts counter. The first one they brough out is for a GM driveline to 9" Ford rear end. The caps were too big for my TH350 yoke and another guy came over and said this was the one for GM old drive shaft to TH350 tranny. It fit and in spite of current drizzle conditions, I'm headed out to drive to install. Going to exhaust man tomorrow afternoon!
Thanks to all and all your suggestions. I knew there had to be an answer and as usual I learn new perspectives on a problem.
