    yep some of them kits for reprogram the valve body are not to street friendly they shift out at a hi rpm and hi line presure for a hard shift and late shift for just driving on the street hard to just pussy foot it by the cops with a 3inch EX and one of them valve bodys I KNOW THIS that is why i just use a full manual valve body he could try to play with the modulator that comes in to play with line pressure but ???

    Thanks for the replies. Before I installed the new Jegs converter, I had the TCI StreetFighter 3000 in the car and it acted fine. It would shift normal during traffic driving, it was just when I needed to accelerate quickly, like entering a freeway that the engine would rev up then as I gained speed it would level off. Seemed like it was slipping to me. Maybe all was fine with that converter and it was doing what a 3000 stall converter should do. But this jegs is way off. I am going back to the TCI unit and see if everything returns back.
