Hi Everyone!

New guy here.... I have a 38 Ford truck with a new 427 SMALL block Chevy motor and a TH400 Trans. The motor now has 500 miles on it and seems to be breaking in nicely. It has a huge cam in it and hates to idle at 800/850 rpm while in gear.

Can I get a higher stall converter to help that situation? Right now it has a 2500, someone suggested a 3,000 would really help.
