Way, way back, B&M was the way to go with the Hydramatic. It was a good transmission then. Now it's B&M/Hurst/McLeod. My recollection is that they were owned by another conglomerate (or several) like Holley or Mr Gasket, but.....and in my experience, when multiple ownerships happen, the product suffers. I've used their valve body shift kits in C6 transmissions successfully and shifters in the past but never one of their "factory built" transmissions.Dave W
