Would be helpful to know if you have OEM cable and bracket installed. If so, basic setup is to go under the hood,crank the throttle wide open, release the snap release for the cable. When it "pulls full relase"on the cable, re-snap the retention part of the adjuster into place. From this point, you can adjust 1 click at a time to get what you want for shifts and firmness. Anything more than 2 clicks either way, you have a different problem controlling your tranny shifts.
