I prefer the Power-Glide because of it's characteristics of staying "on" the converter during the run. First gear is optional for your choice. You are not locked in to a certain first gear. Simple to build, maintain, and run. Lighter, etc. What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

I bought the 76 in August , but haven't been able to work on it. When I get a chance I'll post some pictures.
