    Identifying a mustang T-5

I bought what is supposed to be a T-5 from a V8 and is there any way to tell if its actually from a V8 before I get the adapter and put it in my 65 custom 500. Jeff

Check the size of the pilot bearing area of the input shaft. 4cyl is different size than v8.
