    Gear position senders...

I currently have a lokar gear position sender to install on my 700r4 transmission, however i have recently changed plans and decided to purchase a Dakota digital gear position indicator which also has functions for high beam indicators etc. My question is am i stll able to utilise the Lokar sender? i would prefer to a) because i already have it and b) they look better than the Dakota ones...

Not sure on all the electrical stuff, if they are compatible or not. I do know with the Dakota Digital gauges, only their sender will work with the gear indicator built into the Dakota Digital speedo..... or that's the info in the Dakota Digital instructions, anyway. Don't know if that info will help, or confuse the issue!!!!!
