Actually a well built C4 will handle 450 - 500Hp +, but, if you have room and a choice, a C6 is always the best way to go - tho a small block version is tough to find.

Dang Chebbie guys - ya mention a C4 or 6 they instantly think that we are talking about those clay pigeons that GM builds - you know, shatter when hit.

Nah - it's just guys that put 'foreign' engines into Ford products that fry our fries. But we will always try to treat them like they were dropped on their heads at an early age and just need some special care

Misguided????? Not me!!!! Misguided would indicate we are following a bad leader, we have no leader!!!!! Still accumulating parts for my Windsor powered Camaro named "PAYBACK"!!!!!!! If it's as well recieved as I expect it to be, might have to do me a Vette in the same fashion!!!!!

    How about a '69 L88 Vette powered by a 427 FE and toploader 4spd.

it's either Hot Rod mag or Popular Hot Rodding that is starting a project Fox body LS1 I think that's hilarious, but still rediculous.

I think the PAYBACK Camaro is really funny, but a bit sick I can dish it but I sure can't take it

Actually I am putting a foriegn engine in a foriegn truck (both Ford though) and I have both boxes C4 & C6 for my 351W hence the original question, I just noticed that the C6 is much heavier, I will go C4 for starters.
Sorry guys but I love the Vette over here but the down side is gas at$8-9 a gallon and the steering on the wrong side.
There is also serious competition with similar performance cars over here but gas or not I just love a V8.

    c4-c6

Pull both units apart and you will find the real difference. Check out the size of the frictions in both. C-6 is much larger and will handle that power with no problem. C4 will get you extra power but with a lot of cash!
