Scooter, look first at the flex plate,then look to see if the modulator is hooked up,and before you pull the trans to fix the flex plate,pull the pan off and check for steel filings,and friction plate grit, some is normal and no worry,tons of it is good night. Don't forget that most of the fluid is in the torque convertor,and youmight as well flush the lines and cooler too. Hank
