Thanks for the posts, guys. I am going to take the tape measure to the one I've got stored to see if it looks the same, and then start checking the linkages, etc.

What I dislike about the AOD (in stock form) is that gears just suddenly disappear. My Son lost his 4th gear, mine in my Jeep really is sloppy going into 2nd when I'm on it, and now this one losing every gear but low and reverse, with no warning what so ever.

Another thing I hate is the fact they won't upshift into 4th until you lift off the gas. Just what you don't want to do when you are going through the gears hard.

IMO the C-6 is just such a stronger, better shifting tranny.
