personally I wouldn't put a 200r4 in anything, it came behind the small motors. a good built 700r4 is ok,Originally posted by Dave Severson
never have done that swap on a chebbie, I am fairly sure it will require either a special bellhousing or an adapter. Might want to check, I know Lakewood and McCleod both make a bellhousing with the correct bolt pattern to put a Tremec behind most any Ford motor.
On the pedals, maybe a set of hanging pedals mounted to the firewall??? Wilwood and other companies have them. You might also want to consider a hydraulic clutch, makes the installation a lot easier than clutch linkage.
