If you're going to trash the stock tin pan anyway, just punch a hole in it and let it drain into a drain pan. If you need to use the stock pan again, just pound the hole flat with a hammer and a block, spot the hole shot with a welder.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

or if you dont want to butcher the old pan, dunno why you'd care about it though, but you loosen the bolts on the opposite side the jack is on with a big drain pan underneath...... and then once fluid stops coming, you loosen the other bolts a little and take the first side you did out all the way.... if done right, no mess.... if it goes the normal way.... you're at least gonna have oily hands..... if done the way i did it the first time when i was 14.... you have oil soaked hairjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
