    Chevy Turbo 400

     



    Any Turbo 400 experts out here. I have a Turbo 400 that shifts fine in 1st,2nd, and 3rd. Runs perfect no problem. But put it in reverse and the trans chatters like its slipping. Any ideas. This trans is only about a year old. Thanks .

    thats gonna be on the inside b2zone. there is nothing to do to reverse without pulling the trans. down.

    How is manual low? Does it shudder when pulling all the way down to 1st gear?

    I had one repaired way back under waranty and it worked great except it would chatter in reverse. It seems that there was a seal that the lip had been rolled under when it was installed and it would not hold pressure in reverse.
