Another alternative is a monoleaf spring. They have the reverse eyes as BOB described, plus the advantage of one leaf gives another 2" of adjustment potential. They come with a stack of leaf portions about 4" long that can be stacked on either side of the monoleaf center in the clamp area for adjustment.
Look in my gallery at the red '32 roadster, I used a monoleaf on that and it's not all the way down.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
It's much easier to promise someone a "free" ride on the wagon than to urge them to pull it.
Luck occurs when preparation and opportunity converge.
Sprayed the cab, it's a long story, I had to re shoot it. Color sanding and buffing it now.
