If you want to do a frame clip, the front end from a G body GM car works well. '78-'86 Monte Carlo, El Camino, Cutlass, Grand Prix, Regal. Lots of fellows use the S10 clip also. If you want to retain the entire '40 frame, there are bolt-in and weld-in crossmembers using the MII design. Some are nice, some are junk.Last edited by techinspector1; 08-27-2010 at 12:23 PM.
