Need some help, adding a leaf spring

I have a 89 suburban that I am adding a leaf spring to get about 1-2 inches higher in the rear. The instructions say to install in a pyramid fashion. The hole in the center of the spring does not allow it to center up with the other leafs. will this be fine?

Cant get my pics to upload

I have the new leaf spring under the next longer one and above the shorter one. If that makes any sense. Problem is the new spring is not center ,its about 1 short of the lower spring edge. Its also about 2 1/2" out passed the other side.

The off center of the centering boltis designed to give the "Float" it needs for the rear hanger. When you get the pics uploaded, we can get an idea of where your efforts are.

Just move it down below the next spring leaf - you can cut it off with the hole centered. The overall effect as far as raising the vehicle will remain about the same. Generally when I have done this, I have gone to the local spring shop, tell them my spring width, leaf thickness, and the length I want and they make it to size using their standard stock. I will also buy a set of 4 U-bolts and 2 long center bolts and then procede to get dirty !! The last one was on an F350 9900GVW P/U!!

    Got it figured out !

The guy at Summit did not read his fine print and sold me the wrong part which is 13125 from pro comp suspensions. I called pro comp and the part that I need is 13124. The part that I got in the 13125 box is 13127. WHAT THE HELLLL!!!

I got back with summit and the guy was trying to make it my fault for receiving the wrong part. He did not even want to get me the correct part second day air.

I was gong this route because I wanted to stiffen the rear suspension a little. I will be pulling a trailer occasionally. Also being a suburban(heavy) stiffening the rear suspension a little should help its driving performance, this is on a lowered suburban.
