my old 85 ford f350 looked wierd when the wheels were turned, i don't think they had the geometry right on it either it would squeel the tires when turning in a parking lot. a way to do a front tie rod if you can't get the pivot point out where it belongs would be to use a triangular intermediate pivot plate like the go carts used
