    what rear axle should i use ???

     



    just curious on what rear axle i should be swaying towards and what majority of people use. i got a 41 chevy pickup
    nothing beats the sound of and old rod rolling down the street

    Welcome to CHR. It somewhat depends on what you are using the truck for. If you are putting in some big power, sticky tires, and plan on doing some racing a 9" Ford is the rear end most generally used. If it is just a cruiser, and 8" Ford would do fine. Chances are an 8" from a Maverick would be very close to the correct width.

    thanks guys that page had a lot of knowledgeable stuff
