what rear axle should i use ???
just curious on what rear axle i should be swaying towards and what majority of people use. i got a 41 chevy pickupnothing beats the sound of and old rod rolling down the street

Welcome to CHR. It somewhat depends on what you are using the truck for. If you are putting in some big power, sticky tires, and plan on doing some racing a 9" Ford is the rear end most generally used. If it is just a cruiser, and 8" Ford would do fine. Chances are an 8" from a Maverick would be very close to the correct width.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Welcome to CHR. I think that you need to hook up your vacuum advance. At part throttle when cruising you have less air and fuel in each cylinder, and the air-fuel mixture is not as densely packed...
