if for some reason you need to keep a 6v gauge(or whatever 6v)you can get a resistor and put it in line so you wont burn the 6v gauge up. the starter i guess will be 12v, im sure you could update the heater motor, if not use the resistor. everything should go back neg. ground.
I think if change to neg ground you'll need to change the wiring around on any org gauges you use and the heater motor other wise they will work backwards
