There was one that I saw on the street . One guy in my neighborhood used to bring it to the Tuesday cruise nights. it was a little Dodge Rampage ( Not sure about the name of the truck)
From the factory, it was a front wheel drive small El'Camoino style truck based on the Omni/Horizon 2dr models in the mid 80's.
This one was light blue , used a Pantera Drivetrain , had a Chevy V8 and a scoop that went over the roof.
how about useing a olsmobile torinodo trans axel

[B]David, thanks for the Pantera suggestion. I'm pretty sure you'd have to take a second on the house and sell your kids to buy a Pantera drivetrain today though. You could make it work with a Porsche transaxle that wouldn't be that expensive.

Thats a great site . My only question would be if the Porsche suspension would mate up correctly to the S-10.
J.C. Witney might have a Pantera TYPE setup. Also the old Corvair
Vans and Side-load pickups had a rear engine mount setup.
The picture of the wheelie truck reminded me .
ow yea your right I for got all about the caddy and I do agree bigger is much better with a few exception to that rule :p  :D but its a s10 its not going to take much to lift it:toocool:

lt1s10, you could make the whole affair narrower by fabricating your own suspension and axles. It's just that when I came up with this idea, I was looking for a way to do it on the cheap. You should be able to buy a whole running Eldorado of the '71 to '76 vintage for very little, particularly if it has been in an accident that involved the rear or side.
thanks for the input guys, didnt know about the porch setup. that looks good. i had been looking at archies fiero setup but i dont belive that would be stronge enough. the cad. is probably the way to go, but i have to worry about va. st. inspection first. it might be a way around them thought. if you cant shave the door handles off it probably would be near imposible to sneak a motor in the bed of the truck. **) **) :3dSMILE:
you cant shave your door handles what I my self have never heard of that if that were case I would be thinking about a move un less of cource your in the military then your stuck:confused:   :whacked: :3dSMILE:
hotroders in va. cant do much anymore, its easy to write a law that says how ever it came from the factory thats the way it has to be. but i think in a free country if you can shave your handles in west va. or wherever then i should be able to do it in va. i have a shave you handle kit at the shop that i bought and then found out you cant do that here. i put n.c. lic plates on the veh. for awhile but i was told you still had to pass the va. insp. if the veh. stayed in the st. over 30 days at a time.  :CRY:Quote:

I would go a look at your state law ord. as long as your state law dont sate you have to have door handles I would tell your town clown to go blow you just got to find the loop hole it just like they say you have to have a whinsheld no it states you have to have eye protection but dont quote me Ive been spoiled here in Az. But go look at your state lawsQuote:

the law says the doors has to open and close the way it did when it came from the factory. the tropper i talk to told me about a car he stoped one time and the guy had put the toe button be hind the front lic. plate and they dont like elec. door openers because if you in accident they wont know how to open the door. va. is doing it the easy way now, if it came from the factory its ok, other wise dont mess with it. :confused:Quote:

This is a little off the subject, but do you remember the "Mole' that used to run at Dahio? I never really got a good look inside (He went by me too fast) and I was wondering if you remember how he had that thing set up.
