Thanks for the ideas they are great. I guess I will chew it over a bit yet, but I do have a SABRE saw and a mig.......mmmm what to do? Was that taper you were talking about, Henry Rifle, considerable in size? I was hoping it would be a very simple chop. Shrinking and hemmerweling don't scare me too much either.
