There are no 1250 Lb engines, unless you plan on buying a tank engine. Now that being said, get a stand that has 4 wheels. Murray's sells a AC Delco stand with 4 wheels that will work fine. I bought two. Depending on the local Murray's, you can get these for $49.99 or $59.99.

I have a three wheel stand that I used with a 440 and it held up fine, but it could be a little unstable over any expansion strips. I only use this stand now on four cylinder engines.
