Get good tools, the job will simplify.
A dual - wattage trigger solder gun, a pair of LOBSTER AK 2MA crimpers, and a KLEIN wire stripper.
Don't spend several C notes on wire then try to cheap out on tools..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.
