    Kevin, You are correct, I only use leg of iron for spraying, it will rust but every high school shop in the midwest had iron pipe I guess, I think it was tp tools that gave me the idea, We have had copper at the shop I work at for 30 years and never a issue, except expense, keep in mind for spraying diameter is a concern, the bigger the better.
