I bought a 409 with dual carbs and it's in a 34 ford coupe. The problem I'm having is the origional carbs that came with the engine(carter 500) were replaced with 650 Edelbrock. Punching the pedal, the engine hesitates for a few seconds and then runs great. I'm pretty sure this is from to much carb, but I could be wrong. Idels fine and after the hesitation, runs like hell.
