Don't overlook that he told everyone that it was Canadian Dollars, so that $10K is $7,200 at today's exchange rates. I'm not saying yes or no about the validity of his claims, but several people did not do very good with their basic read to comprehend skills with this thread, IMHO.Last edited by rspears; 01-03-2016 at 11:31 AM.

I wasn't aware that the dollar was that weak compared to Canadian dollars. Still, $7200 should build a pretty stout sbc. Tech asked for numbers from the engine, not forthcoming and too many things that didn't jive. If the intake was warped that would sure indicate that it wasn't the only thing warped and he took it to a shop to have the intake milled???? Too many variables not addressed.Ken Thomas
