I'll check to see that the mounts aren't reversed. I've been running it this way for about 5 years. My large tube headers clear everything so they must have got the engine located close. The only real problem is the rubber in the shells is starting to look pretty rough and they are welded in. Maybe I'll just drill holes into the x member where the mounts are welded on, grind of the old mounts and bolt new ones in the holes. I found some solid mounts that will replace the clam shell type mount. Do solid mounts work okay on the street?
