if you have a crack in the bore all is not lost i fixed many blocks with a sleeve done right it is a very good repair. i have blocks out there making over 1000. hp with out a power add so 1500 hp with a iron fixed block there is some rules to repair the block the rigth wayIrish Diplomacy ..the ability to tell someone to go to Hell ,,So that they will look forward to to the trip
