    If the fluid don't smell all burnt-----------you probably had a planetary/sun gear failure----------you can get the parts from transtar(I think that's the name) parts manuals on line pretty well show all the pieces in proper order for assembly---if you have a way to get it uot and back in, you can do it---------just fix the busted parts and don't replace any discs as there is a stack up deminsion---new fluid and filter being sure to get clean fluid into converter and cooler--------


    First tho-------I would suggest you drain it and drop the pan, being careful as there will be some junk directly under where the failed part is--will give you an idea of where to look


    at least the 2 wheel drive can be handled easier than those 4x4-------
