Thanks Guys, I used to know a guy out here in Vegas but he was about 50 and that was 30 years ago.
That guy if the trany was out could take it apart and rebuild it in about 20 minutes, coolest thing I ever seen.
Of course that was with the old Mopar 727 torque flight trany. Built me the only trany I never broke with my
Big block 440 Magnum in a 71 Charger. I wish he was still around but I doubt he would still be building tranys
if he was. I do know a guy down here but I don't know how good he is, works out of a shop in his back yard
on the side. But he is a trany guy, just met him last year or so. I guess I'll go by and see him. I did price a new
trany on line with a new converter was $1295 with tax. and then you put your old core in the box and they
pay the postage back. 100,000 mile guarantee or 5 years.
