I've built a few Buick's before and had good luck with them. I used a Doug Nash shift kit in the Buick trany before, it had 3 different kits in it I always used the med or middle one for a solid crisp shift with improved fluid flow. You really can't tell you have a shift kit even in it unless you are really standing on it, Tech. Like I said it's not gonna be anything crazy, just a little better or above the stock with better parts though. Ya them roller cams are pricey I know, But I am used to dealing with old Dodge's and Ford's them ain't cheap either. Maybe I'll be able to work out a deal with Edelbrock when I get the heads and intake intake. Made a good deal like that with Luntui on a special grind by General Kinetics Camshafts for the Cleveland, I think it was $2,700. It included Springs, locks {Titanium}, Valves, roller rockers roller lifters, the big push rods I think 3/8, guide plates and camshaft, screw in studs, breakin lube might have been a timming gear as well. Oh they thru in some engine screens for the oil galley and a distributor gear. Love the way them old Buick's glide down the road like there floating on air, just a good riding car. I had the 69 Le Sabre before, that was a good riding car too. I've been planing on talking to you in a couple months Pat after I get my Ford sport custom painted and sold. Got to much on my plate right now,but working on several deals. Working on 5 vehicles that will all be for sale soon.
