    Newer seats mount in so many different ways that I would keep the mounts off the bench and try to find another set and then adapt them to the seats that you want to use.

    Good idea, but the bench has two, and the buckets will need two each. Ideally you can get mounts with the buckets you're going to use, and modify/adapt them to fit the '59? That's what I did, unbolting the Fiero seats from the bottom side of the Fiero, then mounting the stock sliders to the floor of the '33. Luckily both were dead flat!
