    can i put 1st gen heads on a 2nd gen block?

    Before I would give you a positive answer , I would want to be 100% sure what your talking about----I'm assuming you mean small block chevy and that you mean up to 1992, but from around mid 80s to mid 90s there were many various engines that people are calling all sorts of things-----

    But---probably they'll bolt on, but water circulation and intake manifold mountings are varied---then the LT 1 & 4 heads are reverse cooling---
