I recently added a shiny new MSD ignition on my 383 stroker, because the mechanic was opinionated against accel. The new distributor fixed nothing. Seems to me, no amount of PR will compensate for a completely garbage product, but I've been wrong before.

Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

I have about given up on distributers. Have had 4 of them in different vehicles one in a Pantera all got moisture in them and froze up so bad they couldnt be dissasembled. Tired of multi strike systems short spark duration using fancy wound coils. Going distributor less in the near future and programable with capabilities like in FI engines.
