I think yrs ago companies hard sold the idea of Lt'er engines.A prime example is Ford with it's infamous "5.0".The new Gen hot rodders bought into this hook,line,and sinker.Truth is hard to beat.It's still only a 302 c.i.And my criticism of that is guys stroking them thinking they are the big dogs and still people when asked about a stroked SBC to 334 cringe.Aaaaa-it's a 5.0!!!.Hummm.

I think what happened here is dishonest on the car makers part and a shame they our younger berthed has bought into it.Has the 5.3's tech and the 6.0's had a impact??.They sure have.But the law of physics hasn't change.There ant no replacement for displacement.
