As bigdude says off of the carb / linkage, sometime in the early seventies they had moved the switch to the pedal linkage at or under the dash, I know for sure on the trucks they had.Toys

Kids in the back seat may cause accidents, accidents in the back seat may cause kids, so no back seat, no accidents...!
