i plug the intake ground clean with a good fit on some 1/8 flat plate then tap them in the runner about a 1/4 inch then weld them up no need to mill the intake. if you want to plug heads some guy melt alum pistons and fill the cross over in the head .i would warm head first and you will have to plug the bowl with clay or a mix with sand so you do not have a big mess . or buy some pyro putty and fill them with that
