anyone know of a way to block off the exhaust crossover that goes under the carb? i have an edelbrock 650 avs thunder series carb n the exhaust will burn up my gaskets. or if they make a spacer that actually fits? if i find a spacer then i can use a stock gasket with the opening for the exhaust :) the intake n carb holes look like this. any help will be much appreciated :))))
i bocked them by welding them i make up a steel plate and weld them in with Ni rod if iron intake . if alum tig weld they do make a heat plate MR gasket makke them
thanks for the reply. yeah guess thats the only way if i cant find the right spacer. i can use the stock gasket under the spacer n the ones in the pic for the carb. the holes have to be exact for the spacer or exhaust will blow into the intake :( only spacers i find have all 4 holes the same size either too big or too small. wish i had a cnc machine haha. wish i could find an aftermarket intake as well. no one loves the caddy anymore :(

not very hard to bore the plates out for the bigger bores . know any one with a mill its not a hard job E Z .you do not need a cnc mill to do itQuote:

Did you weld them from the intake side or thru the exhaust port? i would like to do the same on my 902 heads cause its bound to hamper flow.Quote:
